iSAQB Software Architecture Gathering 2026
We’re pleased to announce that the iSAQB® Software Architecture Gathering (SAG) will once again take place in Berlin, Germany, from November 16-19, 2026! Organized by the International Software Architecture Qualification Board (iSAQB®) in cooperation with heise conferences, SAG is the leading international conference for software architecture professionals – from early-career architects to seasoned leaders.
Over the years, SAG has become a central platform for high-quality knowledge exchange, real-world experience, and new ideas in software architecture. With a strong focus on community and professional exchange, the event brings together architects, developers, system analysts, and decision-makers from across the globe.
We are looking for engaging talks and hands-on workshops that provide real value for software architecture practitioners. Whether you want to present a deep technical dive, share lessons learned, or explore new architectural perspectives – we invite you to contribute.
We welcome English-language proposals in the following areas:
Core skills, methods, and principles every software architect needs.
New technologies, platforms, tools, and quantum computing scenarios that may influence future architectural decisions.
Communication, collaboration, leadership, organizational design, and architecture governance.
DDD, API-driven architecture, cloud-native systems, platform engineering, DevOps, and evolutionary architecture.
How AI changes architecture work, systems, tools, and decision-making.
Building systems that are secure, reliable, adaptable, and responsible.
Real-world case studies, practical experience, failures, trade-offs, and concrete takeaways.
Relevant ideas and perspectives that do not fit into traditional architecture categories but matter to software architects.
