Thomas is an experienced Software Architect, Lead Developer, and Trainer with more than ten years of experience in designing and developing complex software systems. Holding both B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Physics, he combines strong analytical skills with deep technical expertise. His industry experience spans logistics, automotive, and wholesale sectors, where he has led the design, optimization, and modernization of enterprise IT systems.
His core competencies include software architecture, system design, microservices, cloud-native solutions, DevOps, CI/CD, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), architecture evaluation, data warehousing, and agile product development. Key achievements include migrating a monolithic logistics platform to a Kubernetes-based microservices architecture, building large-scale Kafka-powered data warehouse solutions, and driving architecture standardization through ADRs, UML, and ArchiMate.
