Louise Humpington
AI Ethicist | Humanitarian Strategist | Governance Specialist | Executive Leadership
Louise Humpington brings nearly three decades of experience across commercial law (Financial Services Litigation), international development, human rights, and AI ethics and governance. She has worked in some of the world’s most demanding governance environments, including as Country Director for Oxfam in Papua New Guinea and as a Non-Executive Director of Amnesty International UK. Her work focuses on translating the frameworks developed in human rights and DEI into practical organisational impact, including for the technical communities building and testing the systems that shape people’s lives. She argues that inclusion and diversity is no longer a ‘nice to have’. It is a foundational part of the governance required to mitigate risk and avoid liability.
