Alexander Lorz
Freelance Software Architecture Trainer and Consultant
Dr.-Ing. Alexander Lorz is a freelance software architecture trainer, IT consultant, and developer. He is a member of the iSAQB Foundation Level working group, leads the iSAQB Train-the-Trainer working group, and contributed as a lead author to the CPSA-F reference training material.
He studied computer science at TU Dresden and then researched and taught at the Heinz-Nixdorf Chair for Multimedia Technology, where he earned his PhD in 2010. After that he worked as a software architect and technical project manager on projects in electromobility, transaction processing, and the digitalisation of business processes. Since 2016 he has trained architects full-time, across sectors that include automotive, fintech, public authorities, and telecommunications. His trainings focus on hands-on knowledge transfer and technical exchange among participants.
